Following service, the judicial bailiff prepares an official report of service. This document constitutes high-quality proof that the document was delivered to the recipient.

For example, in the context of the Quebec rental board (Régie du logement) and Small Claims, the judicial bailiff can serve, among other things:

Fee structure

Regulated fees

The professional services rendered by judicial bailiffs are priced according to the Judicial Bailiffs' Fee Schedule. As such, judicial bailiffs have the professional duty to respect and apply this regulation. Furthermore, for related services rendered to their clients, bailiffs may agree on extrajudicial pricing under the Professional Fee Schedule (T.H.P.).
